Tomorrow night is the official Study abroad to Ghana meeting where I will be presenting our first view of the instructional packet to the volunteers, and inviting them to participate in the volunteer training program we have set up to help them teach the local health professionals. Our regular meeting times will depend on the volunteer schedules but we are excited to teach them all the dental education, which knowledge they will be taking down with them to Ghana, West Africa. I will put a complete update of tomorrow's events late tomorrow evening.
Also tomorrow my crew of additional volunteers and I will be visiting local businesses and health care professionals to see if they would be interested in donating to our cause or sponsoring our 5K FUN RUN held at Weber State University! This should be a very eventful day and exciting to see the community come together to bring these supplies to Africa :) If any of you are interested in donating or becoming a sponsor it is $50.00 to sponsor the cause and receive your business logo on the 5K T-shirt.
